The furniture carrier may engage another carrier for execution.

The moving company performs its obligations with customary care. Unforeseen services beyond the contract scope require additional compensation.

Moves may be executed as consolidated shipments.

Tips cannot be offset against the furniture carrier's invoice.

The sender authorizes the employer or agency to pay moving costs directly to the company.

The sender must secure sensitive equipment parts (washing machines, record players, electronics).

When collecting the moving goods, the sender is obliged to verify them.

Staff cannot perform electrical, gas, or installation work unless explicitly agreed.

The company is only responsible for carefully selecting arranged craftsmen.

The company is not responsible for misunderstandings in non-written communication.

The company transfers insurance rights to beneficiaries upon request.

Invoices are due before unloading (domestic) or before loading (international). Cash or equivalent payment required.

Liability applies according to HGB for moves within/outside Germany with various transport methods.

The furniture carrier is liable for damage caused by loss or damage to moving goods.

Maximum liability: €620 per cubic meter of loading space; three times the freight costs for delivery delays.

The company is exempt from liability in unavoidable circumstances beyond reasonable care.

• Precious metals, jewels, currency, documents
• Inadequate packaging/labeling by sender
• Handling by sender during loading/unloading
• Unpackaged goods in containers
• Oversized/overweight items (with advance warning)
• Living animals or plants
• Inherent defects causing damage

• Check goods for visible damage upon delivery
• Report within 24 hours or document on delivery receipt
• Hidden damage must be reported within 14 days
• Delivery delays: 21 days to report
• Notification must be in writing (letter, fax, email)
• Timely dispatch preserves the validity of the claim

The sender must inform the company in writing about hazardous goods and their nature.

§§ 415, 346 ff HGB apply.
